Cobblestone Car Wash Commercial Electrical Construction
The Electricians delivered the complete electrical scope for a ground up commercial car wash in the Denver metro area. The work covered an 800A service and distribution package, wash tunnel equipment power, 19 vacuum stations, an addressable fire alarm system, site lighting, snow melt connections, and underground raceway infrastructure.

What is commercial car wash electrical construction? Commercial car wash electrical construction is the installation of the power distribution, equipment connections, controls, life safety systems, and site electrical infrastructure that a high volume wash facility needs to operate. The scope combines high amperage distribution, motor and mechanical equipment connections, wet location wiring methods, underground site raceways, and lighting controls inside one coordinated package. The Electricians performs this work for general contractors and commercial property owners throughout the Denver metro area and the Front Range.
The Electricians completed the full electrical scope for the Cobblestone Car Wash project. Our team installed the electrical infrastructure supporting the building, the wash tunnel, site equipment, lighting, fire alarm, snow melt systems, vacuum stations, controls, and customer facing technology.
An 800A distribution system, specialized equipment connections, extensive underground and above ground raceways, and electrical systems operating in constant water exposure made coordination across trades essential from the first day of construction.

Wash Tunnel Equipment Power
Power and final connections for the Motor Control Center, boilers, water heater controls, doors, motor controls, heat trace, and exhaust fans.
Wet Location Wiring Methods
Liquid tight connections and waterproof wiring methods selected for continuous water exposure and installed to applicable NEC requirements.
Site and Underground Raceways
Trenching, backfill, underground conduit, site feeders, and overhead vacuum connections routed across the entire property.
Addressable Fire Alarm
Fire alarm control panel, smoke detection, manual pull stations, horn strobes, strobes, wireless monitoring, and closeout documentation.
Lighting and Lighting Controls
Commercial lighting package with occupancy sensors, photocells, relay controls, dimming controls, and time clocks.
Power Distribution Package
The distribution equipment installed on this project reflects the electrical load a modern tunnel car wash carries once the wash equipment, vacuums, heaters, and site systems all run together.

Car Wash Tunnel Electrical
The wash tunnel presented the most demanding electrical environment on the project. Water, motors, mechanical equipment, controls, and continuous commercial operation all share the same space.
The Electricians provided power and final electrical connections for the Motor Control Center, water heater controls, boilers, doors, motor controls, heat trace, temperature sensors, exhaust fans, and associated tunnel equipment.
Connections inside the tunnel use wet location methods appropriate for the environment, including liquid tight fittings and waterproof wiring installed to applicable NEC requirements. Selecting the correct method at rough in is what keeps a wash tunnel out of nuisance trouble calls once the facility opens.
Site Electrical Infrastructure
The electrical scope extended well beyond the building. The Electricians installed the infrastructure supporting the exterior and customer facing systems across the property.
That work covered 19 vacuum stations, monument signage, site lighting, point of sale equipment and canopy, gate controls, a license plate reader, drive through equipment, telecom pathways, and snow melt system connections.
Delivering those systems required extensive conduit routing along with trenching, backfill, underground raceways, overhead vacuum connections, and final equipment connections coordinated around the site work schedule.
Fire Alarm, Lighting, and Controls
The Electricians installed the addressable fire alarm system for the facility, including the fire alarm control panel, smoke detection, manual pull stations, horn strobes, strobes, wireless monitoring equipment, and the associated closeout documentation.
Our team also installed the commercial lighting package and the control devices that run it, including occupancy sensors, photocells, relay controls, dimming controls, and time clocks.
Together these systems give the facility the power, life safety infrastructure, lighting, and automated controls it needs for daily operation and for code compliance at final inspection.
