Authorization:
By approving and accepting this Estimate or Invoice, I acknowledge that I have reviewed the pricing and scope of work and agree to proceed. I understand that payment is due upon receipt. A service fee of $125.00 will be charged for any returned checks. All past-due balances are subject to a finance charge of 1.5% per month, compounded monthly, and a $25.00 late fee assessed every 30 days the balance remains unpaid.

Acknowledgement
Visiting Electrician:

I find and agree that all work performed by The Electricians has been completed in a satisfactory and workmanlike manner. I have been given the opportunity to address concerns and/or discrepancies in the work provided, and I either have no such concerns or have found no discrepancies, or they have been addressed to my satisfaction. My signature here signifies my full and final acceptance of all work performed by the contractor.

Payment is due upon receipt. A service fee of $125.00 will be charged for any returned checks. A finance charge of 1.5% per month, compounded monthly, will be applied to all overdue amounts, along with a $25 late fee every 30 days the balance remains unpaid.

Authorization & Scope
Only the work explicitly listed in this estimate is included. All changes require a formal Change Order and may incur additional cost.

Non-Refundable Deposit
Deposits are non-refundable. Upon acceptance, The Electricians begins work immediately, including material procurement, permit applications, internal scheduling, and project setup.

Exclusions
This estimate does not include:

  • Drywall patching, painting, or texture work
  • Repairs to landscaping, sod, irrigation, or sprinkler systems
  • Damages to gas lines, drain lines, electric fences, or low-voltage systems
  • Damage to siding, trim, roofing, finished floors, walls, or ceilings
  • Utility fees, permit overages, or performance bonds

Trenching & Utility Risk
The Electricians is not responsible for any trenching-related damage to underground utilities or systems unless previously located and clearly marked.

Schedule Changes
If the schedule is changed or canceled by the customer with less than 48 hours’ notice, mobilization, cancellation, or administrative fees may apply to cover the cost of reallocating both field and back-office personnel.

Warranty
Unless otherwise noted, labor and parts are covered by a 5-year warranty from the completion date. This warranty is void if altered or serviced by anyone other than The Electricians.

Payment Terms

  • Payment is due upon receipt
  • A $125 fee applies to any returned checks
  • Balances more than 14 days past due are subject to a $25 monthly late fee
  • A 1.5% monthly finance charge (compounded) applies to invoices more than 30 days overdue

Dispute Resolution
Any disputes will be resolved through mediation and, if necessary, binding arbitration within the jurisdiction where the work was performed.

Furniture & Property Protection
For insurance reasons, The Electricians does not move or handle customer furniture or personal belongings. Customers are responsible for clearing work areas in advance.

Coupons & Promotional Offers
Coupons cannot be combined with other offers. One coupon per visit. On smaller jobs, discounts may be applied as a percentage and may be less than the advertised dollar amount. Minimum service amounts may apply. No cash value. Subject to change without notice.

The Electricians – Limited Warranty

Effective Date: September 20, 2020

The Electricians is committed to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. We offer limited warranties on our work to provide our clients and customers with the peace of mind that comes with a company that stands behind their work.

Residential Warranty

We provide a 5-year limited warranty on all parts and labor for residential work performed by The Electricians. This warranty is transferrable when a home is sold or conveyed, provided the original invoice is presented and the work being claimed is described with specificity.

Commercial Warranty

We offer a 1-year limited warranty on parts and labor for commercial work. This warranty is non-transferrable and applies solely to the original client.

What Is Covered

  • All parts and labor supplied and installed by The Electricians.
  • Surge protectors installed by The Electricians are covered as follows:
    • If the failure is due to product defect or installation fault, both parts and labor are fully covered.
    • If failure is caused by an act of God (e.g., lightning strike), the product will be replaced under the manufacturer’s warranty, with labor and materials billed at The Electricians’ current hourly rates, including procurement and planning.

What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover:

  • Any equipment, materials, or labor not purchased and provided by The Electricians.
  • Failures due to misuse, abuse, neglect, alterations, or vandalism.
  • Damage caused by acts of God, except as noted under surge protection.
  • Pre-existing electrical issues not addressed during the original scope of work.
  • Work that has been altered or repaired by any person or entity other than The Electricians.

Conditions That Void Warranty

Warranty coverage is void under the following conditions:

  • Any modification, repair, or tampering by a party other than The Electricians.The Electricians, LLC
  • Failure to present an invoice showing original work and warranty terms.
  • Misuse of the system or unauthorized alterations.
  • Denial of access to inspect and evaluate the claimed issue.

Note: Warranty coverage does not require a permit to be valid. If work was completed by The Electricians and falls within the warranty term with all other stipulations met, it is eligible.

  • Invoice number
  • A clear description of the issue
  • Photos, if available

Service Charges

  • If the issue is covered, no service fees apply.
  • If it is determined the issue is not The Electricians’ responsibility, our current standard hourly and overhead rates apply for any time spent on evaluation or repair.

Manufacturer-Initiated Work

For projects initiated by certified programs or manufacturers—including but not limited to:

  • Tesla
  • Generac
  • Electrum
  • QMerit

…the manufacturer’s warranty terms will supersede this warranty. The Electricians will follow

the manufacturer’s warranty process and claim cost structure.

Remedies

If your claim is approved, we will:

  • Repair the defective work,
  • Replace faulty parts, or
  • Re-perform the original service as necessary.

Limit of Liability

The Electricians’ total liability is limited to the original cost of the work. We are not liable for:

  • Consequential or incidental damages,
  • Lost use or productivity,
  • Damage to other systems or property not installed by us;
  • Anything not directly addressed by this Limited Warranty

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

This warranty is governed by the laws of the State of Colorado. Any disputes will first be addressed through good faith negotiation. If unresolved, both parties agree to pursue mediation prior to litigation. Additionally, if a warranty dispute results in litigation and The Electricians prevails in the litigation, then the warranty claimant shall be responsible for The Electricians’ reasonable attorney’s fees.

Policy Changes

This warranty policy may be modified at any time by The Electricians. Changes will not retroactively affect previously completed work.
